Ärzte
Let me just say, Ärzte live rock. A lot. Chrischi and me had lots of fun this evening.
We both didn't really like the support band, but at least you can't say they were bad, just that they were playing a kind of music we both don't like.
Die Ärzte themselves came on stage around 8.30 and left around 11.30. The setlist was interesting, they actually played lots of old stuff too. Most interesting, they let some random person in the audience ask for a song, and they promised they'd play it as long as it wasn't already in the setlist for the evening. Since they asked some weirdo hardcore fan, the result was them playing Wilde Welt (I think that's what it's called). This is just about obscure a song choice as it gets ...
Anyway, fun fun fun. The guy who drove the shuttle bus back to the closest train station had an Ärzte mixtape running, so some more fun ensued on that drive. Lots of people singing along Junge while one guy kept shouting "Guys, quiet please, I'm trying to make a phone call here" ...
Same concert tomorrow, except that I expect it to be totally different. Hopefully different setlist for diversity, different jokes, different improv.
Btw, car I got ... 120d with everything. Me likes. Me also kills tires by turning off DTC and trying to accelerate as much as possible ^_^
