thanks for your comment. All those replies concerning AMD vs Intel make me doubt my decision to go for an AMD (I've never had an AMD before, and my Intels have never made any trouble), so I'm not sure whether I'll go for an Intel or AMD. I'll probably go to the store again today, see what kind of price they're giving me on an Intel-based PC ...
