My boss had tasked me to find a RAID controller with expandable cache a few weeks back, so it was kind of funny to accidently run across the one I'd found online. It's got a DIMM slot to put up to 4GB of cache on it.
It also has 6 SFF-8087 ports - you can hook up 4 SATA drives to each one of those.
And an extra external port for another 4 SATA drives - you know, just in case the 24 internal ones aren't enough.
