right. I think I mentioned, some time last night, that I'm working all shifts today, innit?
Anyway ...
I just want to point out, that my job is not just fun all the time. I actually have difficult decisions to make occasionally.
Don't believe me?
Well, here's an example: Just today, I had this hard decision to make, on which car to get refilled first.
The Mercedes E-Klasse?
Or The VW Phaeton?
Or the BMW Z4?
decisions, decisions, decisions ........
o_O
I actually refilled 5 cars today. I think today was "Let's return our cars without refilling them"-Day. Or something. I actually had to get a new authorisation on one credit card because the deposit I'd taken wasn't enough to cover the refilling costs. That's an additional 140€ for one customer. Almost as much as what he's paid for the Phaeton itself ... o:
I also tried calling a customer in Italy, but couldn't reach him.
Got a call from Italy too, some Europcar employee trying to fix a fuckup involving a customer from Italy, a car from Germany, a breakdown in Norway, and a replacement car from Norway too. Couldn't really help, but I forwarded the caller to someone who might be able to.
Had two customers who hadn't booked any cars, one actually wanted a car from Avis, but for some reason didn't get it. He got the MB-E, for the standard price. *grins*
Curious thing of today, I had a reservation for someone on the late flight. When checking the cars coming back though, I noticed that he's bringing a car in just 3 hours earlier than the reservation. o_O So when he returned it I asked him about it, turns out someone had entered the wrong date for the reservation. So I fixed that.
Sonja called at some point. Her daughter is not getting better, so she'll stay home tomorrow too. Means I'm doing another full day tomorrow. That's the 4th day in a row. woot.
I also got new money from Europcar today though. 700€. Wheee. (:
