you know what pisses me off?
Sales people.
I've had one or two missed calls each day these past few days, always without caller id, always leaving no message after the beep.
So, that's either my parents (though after being unable to reach me for several days, they most likely would've left a message, or e-Mailed instead).
Or, it's one of those fucking sales people, for example the one that just managed to reach me.
Why the hell do I even bother to talk to those people ffs?
I blame my parents actually, for raising me to be polite.
Politeness is wasted on those fuckers.
Yet being impolite makes me feel bad about it afterwards.
Why do I have to justify using the phone service I use?
Ever noticed how no one ever calls you to ask if you'd like to rent a car?
Because we expect customers who want to use our service to come to us.
So why do those phone service people think they can sell me a different service?
Wouldn't you think that, if I thought my phone bill was too high, I'd go out on the net to research a cheaper alternative?
Well, I haven't. Because I'm not interested.
Same goes for those people selling credit cards at the airport btw.
I still can't quite grasp that they're successful.
Actually, that gives me an idea.
The next time some such person calls, I'm going to ask them if they want to rent a car.
