Erhofft hatte ich mir Post aus England. The Incident ist inzwischen seit fast einer Woche in den Läden. Ich hab' vor einigen Monaten die Limited Edition vorbestellt, und die ist natürlich noch nicht angekommen. Hrmpf.

Stattdessen hab ich Post vom Wolfgang bekommen. Wieder mal typisch. Jahrelang läßt der nichts von sich hören, kein Hallo, wie gehts. Und jetzt, wo er was will, schreibt er mir plötzlich. Toll. Kann er voll vergessen, ich werd nächste Woche trotzdem nicht FDP wählen!

Ich habe hier einen Brief!
Den möchte ich verschicken, so mit gelbem Briefkasten, und Postboten, und so. Die ganz altmodische Art halt.

Das Problem bei der Sache, ich habe keine Briefmarken zu Hause. Und ich weiß, ganz ehrlich, nicht wo außer in einer Post-Filiale ich welche kaufen kann. Und die nächste Post-Filiale ... Keine Ahnung, wo die ist. Im Wirth-Center war mal eine, aber die hat dicht gemacht, und jetzt gibt's nur noch eine Post-Agentur dort nebenan. Aber selbst die ist ganz schön weit weg, dafür dass ich nur ein paar Briefmarken kaufen will.

Und da sind wir auch schon beim nächsten Problem - ich benötige Briefmarken so selten, dass es kaum sinnvoll erscheint, mehr als eine zu kaufen. Denn meiner Erfahrung nach ändert die Post häufiger die Portokosten als ich Briefe verschicke. Wenn ich mir also mehrere Marken kaufe, hab' ich gute Chancen, wieder keine passenden zu haben, wenn ich das nächste Mal einen Brief verschicke.

Davon mal abgesehen weiß ich nicht mal, wieviel Porto für einen einfachen Brief im Moment anfällt. Ich hab' hier noch eine Briefmarke, da steht "100" drauf. Pfennig, nehme ich an. Und in klein daneben 0,51€. Paßt die, oder nicht? Ich meine mich zu erinnern, dass ein einfacher Brief mehr kostet, aber wissen tu ich's nicht ...


Wieso kann ich meine Anträge auf Wohnbauprämie nicht einfach per e-Mail verschicken?

... today I received a letter from DHL. They're telling me to go to the post office and let them check the damage.
I actually thought that's what I've done a few days ago, but apparently, I haven't. So I'm going to go there again on Monday, taking along the damaged packaging, the poster, the letter I got from them, and a copy of the PayPal e-Mail.

I also have a plan. Not sure where to go with this though. I guess I'll have to find some place printing posters in Lübeck. I want to have an image scanned in high-res, and then printed on a poster, about the size of the Pink Floyd ones preferably. The image I'll want is the one on the back of the Pink Floyd - Pulse DVD booklet.

Yahay, got a note in the mailbox that my package has arrived, and I can get it from the nearest Packstation.

Of course, since I don't have any open orders, I don't really know what it is ........

I got mail from the department of defence.
They're not asking me to return the boots, phew.
It's something about reserves and the fact that it's not mandatory any more, but voluntary.
There's a questionnaire included ...
