Mar. 30th, 2010 08:12 pmToday I read the xkcd comics that had Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau, etc in them (starts here, goes on for a few days). This is the first time reading those after seeing Firefly. That makes a lot of difference, since before I saw the series, it all seemed pretty random and didn't make all that much sense.
Anyway, yesterday evening, being in that weird state between awake and asleep where you have the strangest thoughts that totally make sense at the time, I thought that, we all know that Firefly is pretty much a Live Action Cowboy Bebop, but the character River Tam actually reminds me a lot of Kirika from the Noir anime. You know, the whole killing aesthetically that they both seem to have a knack for. They're very much alike in that, and some aspects of their character too ...
