thought I'd made an LJ entry about my new telephone tariff, that came with all sorts of new features.
As it turns out, I guess I just made a note about it on IRC.
So, there's a few new features ... There's basically some answering machine function, that you can set to pick up after a few rings / seconds. You can then later, from your phone, call a toll free number to listen to messages that have been left for you.
Well, since I have an answering machine myself, I turned that feature off.
Another, quite useful feature, is that my phone now displays the number of the person calling (that is, if they haven't set their own phone to hide the number), and it saves the numbers of past missed calls.
And, most useful, I can set call forwarding. I can set it to forward calls if my line is busy, or after a certain time with no one picking up, or instantly. All this is done by calling service numbers, so I could just make phone book entries that'll set, and unset call forwarding. When I'm not home, I just turn it on, and anyone trying to reach me will get forwarded to my mobile. Whee!

This is one outcome, dunno if there're more options really o_O
And I just love those new WYSIWYG capabilities of Semagic. Just copied and pasted this table from Excel. Well. Not Excel really. I used OpenOffice o_O
