In other news, since it's suddenly below freezing outside, I had to get by with 3 gears instead of the usual 24 on my bike.
Because stuff just freezes up and stops moving when it's too cold.

I didn't even know that, but if you want to know what something is / means, you can google define <thing> to find out. o_O
Of course it doesn't really work very well for anything that can have different meanings ...

omg fireworks!

Someone neglected to tell me that there's some fireworks happening in the city today, so I guess I missed at least half of it. And I was pretty cold by the time it was finished, because when I found out I grabbed the cam and ran outside on the balcony, only coming back in to get the tripod for the cam. And not a jacket or anything.
Anyway, the fireworks actually were pretty professional. Nothing you see people do for New Year's. Instead, it was huge, symmetrical and beautiful ..
