ME3 now please?

I decided to give ME2 another go after all, this time attempting to play with the hardest gameplay setting, and also going for renegade.
I'm currently playing the first recruitment mission and I think I've already died more often than I did the entire first playthrough.
Also, I forgot to assign skill points to my team mates, which didn't make the first mission any easier ...
I've given up for now. Two krogans is just too much to deal with. I'll retry tomorrow ...
