hmm!
according to some online test I'm likely to be bald by the age of 71.
In news that actually matter, I'm going to have to get up early tomorrow, I'm starting at 11.30, and will do all remaining shifts that day.
There's nothing much to do tomorrow though. I might need to order new books, I'm running out again. Right now I'm reading A Time to Kill, the only Grisham book I've got that I haven't read yet. Probably my favourite Grisham novel too ...
Book recommendations are welcome.
So, work: no reservations tomorrow, and only very few cars coming back. o_O
Today was more "interesting" though. I'd done a manual rental agreement on Friday, and Steffi entered it into the computer today. But she entered something wrong, as it turns out, so I spent most of today calling people and reading manuals, trying to find out how to fix it. Not sure if I made it d;
Was all good though, since it's something new to learn.
Timo called during the afternoon and asked me to bring over a child seat they'll need early tomorrow. So I did that during my break.
I also McDonalds'ed.
Oh and I finally managed to get some computery supporty person on the phone to reset my greenway password, so I can finally use my own login again at work. Remind me never to try to change my password to "Ih8changingpasswords" again, the system didn't seem to like it last time. o_O
I also got hold of another computery supporty person to get the Citrix password reset. Citrix is some virtual desktop thingy we use. Or, more often, not use. Since no one knew the password, since the boss had changed and then instantly forgotten it ... o_O
Right, so that was a pretty successful day, except that I've developed a headache.
It's gotten fscking cold these past few days btw ...
Oh, I discovered a scratch on my left arm yesterday, and had no idea where it came from.
Then, today, I managed to scratch my arm again on a board at work. The scratch is right next to the old one, so now I know where it's from. d:
Oh, and funny bit of today: When I arrived at the airport Jenny told me "dammit, I've broken something *again*". tehehe. So I asked her, "what is it this time then? d;" and she explained that when she tried scanning something just now the scanner started making weird loud noises, which resulted in an awkward moment when everyone in the departure hall stopped doing whatever they were doing and looking at her d; o_Ô (I know that feeling btw, when the paper in our printer is stuck it usually sounds like someone's slaughtering it with a chainsaw ...) ...
So I took a look at the scanner, found a switch on its back with a (locked) and (unlocked) symbol on it, guessed that you're supposed to lock it when transporting or shaking the thing around, unlocked it and it worked. Dunno why it was locked in the first place though (and I don't think Swantje did it as a joke, or anything ...) ...
Jenny is funny when it comes to computery things ... d;
I think there were other things I wanted to write about, but of course I've forgotten now. hrm.
