A few days ago I sent mail to the Deutsche Telekom to cancel my phone line (the reason being that I pay 20€/month for a service I hardly ever use). They confirmed that they got my mail by phone, and also confirmed the date I'd set (31.03.08).
So I don't really understand why my phone doesn't work now. Instead of calling out, I get an automated message telling me what to do if I want to use the line I'm calling from again.
And when I try to call myself I get a message that my number is unknown.
I mean, that's kinda what I wanted to accomplish, I just don't get why they've disconnected me a month early ...
*shurgs*
[edit] I'll have to give them a call tomorrow about it, I wouldn't want them to physically disconnect my line before the 21st, because that's the earliest date my ISP are going to hook up my internet to their lines.
