So, I had this doctor's appointment Tuesday morning at 8:15 to get my broken elbow fixed. Not my kind of time to be awake, but most medical practices (as well as most other stores for that matter) are closed at times that I usually call "day".
Anyway, as you can see in the picture, the doctor cut off the broken part and replaced it with temporary parts. The tape is in place to prevent dirt from getting into the servos and bowden cables, so I guess it's not really all that well visible. But you can hear the clicks and whirrs when I move the arm. That's a little irritating to be honest. I guess I got the low quality model there. Last time I had this problem I got a totally silent prothesis ...
Anyway, he also took blood samples to extract DNA from and breed a replacement which I should be able to pick up and get installed on Friday. Morning. Got another appointment at 9:15 then.
Grmml. I hate early mornings ...
Anyway, I watched Dr. Horrible today and I liked it. Fun stuff.
