So I've gone to that Hansebike convention today. T'was fun enough I guess, I made around 172 pictures with my cam, and 2 of those actually came out pretty okay. (I hate my cam.) Anyway, making photos of stuff with lots of people around is really difficult, they keep running in front of them cam o_O ...
Some of the pictures I made are here: http://www.students.mu-luebeck.de/~blankenb/hansebike/
I met Susanne (the Europcar colleague) at the Hein Gericke stall, and chatted with her for a bit. Then I continued through the MuK and surprisingly chatted with several people I didn't know, mostly about my cam d; Weird (as in, quite unlike me), but fun ... Even one of the guys from one of the stalls asked me about the cam, about resolution, memory, and manufacturer, etc ...
Upstairs the Tattoo & Piercing Convention thingy took place. That was pretty weird too - Once you got up there you heard the humming sound from tattoo needle thingies from all around you d; ... There were around 10 - 15 tattoo stalls there, but they weren't all too interesting really. They were all just showing a few photos of tattoos they'd done, and had those typical books lying around, which you can browse through to find motifs for tattoos. The piercing stalls were all selling jewelry and stuff, and some also offered to pierce you right there, with special convention prices.
Oh well, for a tattoo convention this was pretty lame. There weren't any shows planned or anything, and it was all really small. So If you weren't interested in actually getting a tattoo or piercing, there wasn't much for you to do or see there ... I guess the convention in Hamburg (10.4. - 12.4.) will be a lot more fun ... But I don't think I'll be going there ... Err, anyway, let me just point out that I didn't get a tattoo or piercing ... d:
Hmm. There's a news item from the Hansebike on the local news right now. I didn't notice the TV people when I was there, but now that they're showing it ... I did see the camera guy, I just thought that was a regular bike fan with a cam o_O ... Oh well ... *shurgs*
When I got back I had a message on my answering machine from my father ... Dunno when he's called but he said that I was probably still sleeping. He also said that he'd call again some time in the afternoon, but he hasn't ... *shurgs* Oh well, I wrote him an e-Mail with the URL to the pics ...
