Mar. 29th, 2004 06:08 pmW00t, so I'm back from a fun day with Christian at the Miniaturwunderland. Thank God Christian had made me get up early. By the time we came towards the end of the exhibition it was so crowded that you could hardly get a decent view on anything. And by the time we left, round about 3 hours after we'd got in, you would've had to wait in line for 15 minutes to get in.
I'm really pissed of with my cam though. Not only do most pictures I do turn out crap, but after around 90 minutes the batteries were dead too. And I'd recharged them the past few days, and only disconnected it from the PC this morning, before leaving. Shitty thing ...
Anyway, a few pictures turned out okay, so here they are ... ( yay pics (1MB inside) )
At quite a few points they had small buttons for the visitors to press, so you sat there pressing them trying to figure out what they actually do. Quite fun, I guess that's to keep small children interested in the whole thing, and for people like Christian and me who like to press buttons ... d; So you had buttons starting rides at the fair, or buses, or the blue blinking lights on firetrucks, etc etc etc ...
And incredibly many tiny little details for you to discover, like for example Milka cows, tiny people having sex, a dead body in a river, aliens, etc.
It just occured to me that I forgot to take a closer look at the gangsters the SWAT teams were surrounding ... o_O
After we were through the exhibit we went food shopping and had lunch at Christian's and Alexandra's place. Then we fiddled a bit with the computer, then Christian and Alexandra brought me to the Hamburg ZOB, where I took a Ryanair bus back to Lübeck. The bus left Hamburg ZOB at 3.10pm, and was at the Lübeck airport before 4pm. That's about as long as it would've taken a train too. And of course, it's only 8€ instead of the 9€ I paid for the train ticket to Hamburg this morning ... d:
Once at the airport I went in of course, hoping to find Steffi and maybe one of both of the new girls at our counter, but nobody was there. So I went to the Sixt counter instead and said hello to Jenny, who's back from her holidays and her Wisdom Teeth Removal Operation of DOOM. She said that smiling is still painful for her, but other than that she was alive. Sadly she'd failed to take this opportunity to quit smoking, but she says she's still trying ... d;
Uhm ... I stayed a minute or two with her, then went out to catch a bus home.
Yes, so that was my day so far, and stuff. My parents will probably show up at some point later today .. *shurgs*
