<Animaga> so, there's this panda bear
<Animaga> and he walks into Pizza Hut, orders some pizza, and sits down
<Animaga> once he's done eating, he takes a look at the bill and just goes to walk out
<Animaga> manager and server try to stop him, saying "you have to pay for your food"
<Animaga> so he pulls out a gun and shoots the place up
<Animaga> the workers are terrified, asking him what the hell he's doing
<Animaga> he hands them a dictionary, and turns the page to "panda bear"
<Animaga> it says "small black and white bear, native to asia. eats shoots and leaves."

RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNRIG TOMORROW
W00t!

Hmm ... Have I actually written anything about today?
Don't think I have, so let's see ... Errr, I got up a few hours before waking up, at around 6.30ish I think. Drove to the airport via the bakery to buy breakfast which I then left lying around till around lunchtime before eating any of it. I think I had two reservations today, but since I was terribly tired at that point I'm not sure whether I really had those, or if I'm just imagining it now. *shurgs* I also remember cleaning some cars, and not doing an awful lot else ... I finished reading Cruel & Unusual which I think is part 4 of Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta series. And I started reading All that remains, part 3 of the same series. Part 2 (Body of Evidence) should arrive tomorrow'ish via DHL from amazon.de. And, quite surprisingly, I started the whole series with reading part 1, Postmortem. Not quite sure whether I'll just read everything in the series ... I'm tempted to order some Grisham books, since I quite enjoyed The King of Torts. I'm not sure which ones to get though ... *shurgs* ... Maybe some Jack Ryan books would be good too, by Tom Clancy ...
Shesh ... I read Airframe a few weeks ago. Now where did I put that book? Can't just have disappeared ... o_O

Err, anyway ... I gave my boss a call and asked if it's okay to rent a car and use the Europcar Staff contract. He said it's okay, so wheeee I'm taking a car to get to Schwarzenbek tomorrow ... Yes, the bus would be a little cheaper, but having a car is a little less crappy, so ... Not sure what Olaf will give me, but I hope it's the Astra. Not too 1337 a car to look at, but it does have a CD changer. And navigation system. Just in case I can't find the place I've lived in for most of my life ... d;

Right, so plans ... Uhm, I guess I'll just turn up at the airport at some point tomorrow. Get the car, then drive to Schwarzenbek. Not quite sure when we'll be leaving (we being myself, Chrischi, and my father). According to the ticket the concert will start at 6pm, and I have no idea how long we need to get there. o_O
Anyway, looking forward to Paul Carrack, and of course, Runrig. Not sure what to expect of that other band that's supposed to be playing, I've never heard of them before, and I forgot their name just now ... And they're not listed on the ticket either, but then Paul Carrack isn't either ...
When the concert's over, we'll bring my father to some party he's invited to, and then Chrischi and me will, or will not (who knows) do some other things ... *shurgs*
And then on Sunday, getting away from my parents and back here as fast as possible d; ... Well, away from my parents primarily really. o:
I'll be doing the 3rd and 4th shifts at the airport on Sunday, and as it seems I won't have anything much to do then either. The only reservation we seem to be having all weekend is the one I entered for myself today ... o: ...

Anyway, this week has been really quite busy. 3 shifts each on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 2 shifts Wednesday. I've earned 280€ this week, with Sunday coming up that'll get me past 300€ ... I still can't quite believe that I'm getting paid this much to do what I do there ...

Oh, and did I mention that I was being nice, friendly and helpful towards Jenny today?
As you might have figured out from previous posts (then again, maybe not), both Sixt and us clean our cars pretty much next to the airfield. We have a vacuum cleaner at our counter, and an extension cord next to the area we clean the cars in, so whenever a car needs cleaning on the inside, we take the vacuum cleaner along in the car, drive to the back of the airport, and clean it there. Sixt, on the other hand, doesn't have their own vacuum. Well, they do have vacuums, just small, battery operated ones. Which are quite shite.
So today I found Jenny at the cleaning place, desperately trying to make a car less filthy with this little crappy vacuum, so I offered to bring our "proper" vacuum cleaner which she quite happily accepted ... d:
Right ... whee.

So, what else ... Uhm, a while ago I asked my father to return my army boots. Thing is, I got two pairs when I left the army, and I used one pair myself, and let my father have the other one, since he quite liked them too. And we have the same shoe size ... *shurgs* ... Well, lately, the ones I had have been a little uncomfortable to wear since there's something torn inside one of them, so I asked my father for his. So the past few days I've been wearing those. Army boots are not ideal for the kind of temperatures we have at the moment, but they *are* quite right for the weather, i.e. rain. They're also quite useful when using the car cleany thingy at the airport. When I'd first used it my shoes were soaked afterwards o_O ... So, I've worn my father's boot these past few days, and since it's been ages since I've worn them, and my father used them in between, my feet have to get used to them again. Which is a little painful. On the first day I made the mistake I always make, and didn't tighten them properly. So I've had blisters since then. Which don't really heal properly while I wear those boots. Ouch ):
Not really sure what to do about the blisters, but I'll have to wear those boots tomorrow too, since I don't own any other pair of shoes that would be any good for standing around for a few hours at a concert ... o_O

Hmm. I meant to go to bed. About 45 minutes ago. Yesh. It's been a long day, with an early start.
But then there's been quite a bit of stuff I felt the need to ramble about, apparently ... o_O
By the way, when I opened the LJ client I meant to write only the first two lines. (;
Well, proofreading now, then off to bed ... gnight!
