When Chrischi and me were at Saturn a few days ago, I saw those CSI box sets, 1.1, 1.2, 2.1 and 2.2 have been released in Germany. Each one of them cost 54€ at Saturn, which was just way too expensive. So I checked amazon.de, and they're all between 35€ and 40€ there. Quite a difference really ... o_O

today was fun at work again.
the central database was dead for most of the time I was there, so I spent the time happily making up prices for the reservations I had.
One turned out to be a long term rental too, something which is quite rare with us, so I had even less of an idea how much that usually costs. Oh well, the customer had a BHPO with him, and it had the price on it, so that was not a problem after all. All the other customers were really civilised about me taking longer than normal too. Funnily enough though, the bank we call for credit card authorisations, had trouble with their phone system too, so it took quite a while, and 4 or 5 tries, to get one of the CCs auth'ed ...
Oh well ... *shurgs* and stuff.
