There's a virus being e-mailed to lj users and it looks like this:

Dear LiveJournal user,
We have recently noticed that you haven't updated your LiveJournal in
awhile. If you would like to keep your LiveJournal account, you must sign in
within the next 24 hours.
You may sign in at: {link removed}

[...]

Please, post this in your personal journal and in your communities, even if it's off-topic for the community.

I really wish people would stop posting this crap everywhere. First of all, it sounds more like a phishing mail than a virus to me, but then, I've never received such a mail in the first place so I can't tell.
So ... I've never got the mail, just 123451235 entries in communities warning me about it, and all that just because the warning *tells* people to post it all over LJ.
So, I'm wondering ... Is there even such a mail going around? And if so, are people still stupid enough to actually click the link?! After all it's not the first time such mails have made the rounds ...

I think this requires my "stupid people" icon ...

Actually ... Maybe I should copy and paste that, post it to some LJ comms in a few months and then watch it make the rounds. Again. *sigh*

Why is it that I have Jenny's and Steffi's birthdays noted in my calendar, but not Swantje's?
How can that be?!
