May. 2nd, 2005 10:25 pmuhmkay, let's see ...
Today I'd planned one of those "lazy" days. I'd just had breakfast and started Spellforce, when the phone rang. Steffi called and asked whether I'd seen the SMS she'd sent. Which I hadn't, so she asked if I could do her shifts today. She's got a funeral tomorrow (that's why I'm working all day tomorrow ...), and she wanted to get a few things done today. So, now games for me, instead I took a bus to the airport.
Nothing much to do. A few customers complained because they'd been told by someone in the city station that there's a gas station at the airport. But of course, there isn't one. The nearest is a 15 minutes drive away, and they didn't have time to get it refilled, and since someone had given them wrong information, they didn't really want to pay for the refuelling service either ... Oh well, in the end I agreed to get the car refilled with no extra costs, other than the fuel itself, which I would then charge to their credit card ... So that was that ...
Other than that nothing came up really. I rented out 5 cars I think. 2 of those were for colleagues of a guy who'd rented with us before quite often, so I remembered him (I just can't for the life of me remember his name though o_O). I'll check the computer tomorrow, this irks me. I think I should be able to find out his name, and I guess it would've been real 1337 if I'd recalled it when he was there in front of my counter. o:
I called Olaf at some point to tell him about what happened late yesterday evening. He thought it was funny too d; (That was one regular customer turning up and needing a car late that day, even though he'd said just a few days earlier that he's on holiday and won't need one ...). Right, that very customer returned his car this evening, and as it turned out, he didn't really need it. The meeting he had to get to had been cancelled, or something ... Well, at least it's not him paying for the car, so he didn't care too much ... d;
Right, and now I really should go to bed.
I need to be at the airport again at ... uhm ... 8am tomorrow? That sounds about right. Well, not "right", as in, "oh I'm happy to be awake at 8am", but you know what I mean ...
Oh well, at least I've got this CLK thing to drive to work again tomorrow ...
