(no subject)
Jun. 2nd, 2005 10:55 pmToday was a long day really ...
Timo called in the middle of the night (9am) ...
Ah, that reminds me ... *turns on answering machine*
Anyway, he called to ask if I could come over to get a car before going to work, so I made a note and went back to bed.
The note is kinda important, because when answering the phone half asleep, it could just happen that I forget about it, or that I'm conviced that it was just a dream, or something.
So anyway, I got up at some point, and caught a bus into town to get the car. Then I drove back home with the car, then shopping, then home again. Forgot about half the stuff I meant to buy, but anyway ...
Then later I drove to work, and stuff. I had two reservations, but in the end rented out 6 cars. Yay. Cleaned a lot of cars too, etc.
What else ... Let's see ... I didn't take any breaks at all today, worked all the way from 2pm'ish until 10.45pm. Wheee. Money!
I also discovered something neat: I took a BMW 525 home, and drove via McDo (no food since breakfast o_O). That's a small, winding road, with no lights. And since it was also a little foggy I actually saw the lights on the car go left whenever I turned left, and right when I turned right. That's quite possibly nothing special, but today I saw it actually happening for the first time. 1337
And I love big BMWs. The sound when listening to CDs in those kinds of cars is just so much better. Same goes for concert DVDs, which I think the system in that particular car can playback as well. Haven't tried it yet though ...
So anyway, early morning tomorrow, more work, and stuff (STUFF!).
I started reading Nny again. *shurgs* I just don't seem to have anything else to read atm.
I'll have to get the new Fillerbunny at some point too. But I don't really wany to pay $2.99 for the comic itself, and an additional $7.98 for shipping from amazon.com ... o_O And I doubt it's much cheaper from slave labor ...
