seriously like wtf?
Mar. 5th, 2006 11:54 pmToday has been irritating really.
I like snow.
But not when I have to work, or drive around town in cars that don't even have snow tires!
Within a few hours there was more snow than all this past winter.
My shoes completely disappeared in the snow.
And I was wearing army boots.
Snow was up to bumpers and license plates on the cars, etc ...
After work yesterday, I'd driven a Vectra into town to switch it around with a 523i BMW. I drove home with that, and to work this morning.
I actually ended up facing another BMW going the other way at some point, because you just can't drive these things when roads are freezing.
I also didn't refill the car, even though I should have. Instead I just gave the customer a refund.
At some point during the day I was in the downtown station again and got a Touareg.
Nice car actually, big engine, etc. Also the first time I drove a Touareg. Wish the weather was decent though, as it was, I had to go real carefully and slowly, since it didn't have any snow tires either.
Couldn't much see the street either. In fact, the only thing not white outside, while driving back to the airport, were the windscreen wipers. Sux ):
Most planes were diverted to Hamburg today, lots of irritated Ryanair customers and stuff as a consequence.
All my customers arrived in Lübeck though ...
Food now, since I haven't really had anything other than breakfast today ...
