the day ...
Mar. 11th, 2006 10:51 pmStuff arrived today.
More precisely, I fetched stuff from the Packstation.
Satch - Super Colossal
Gilmour - on an Island
The whole 9 yards
Shaft
51st State
Did the regular weekend food shopping too. Except that I didn't really have all that much money left, since I haven't received last month's pay yet.
Oh well, that should be arriving by Monday, and I'll survive until then.
Work was okay. Two flights were diverted and cancelled due to weather. Moving cars around the parking lot this evening was fun too. Jenny asked me to move some of her cars. Those without snow tires. BMW and Mercedes. Oh, the fun. Couldn't actually get the Mercedes to move at all, and the BMW moved more sideways than the usual forwards and backwards.
Best was my Corsa though, had to change between forward and reverse several times to gain enough momentum to actually get over a hump of snow behind the car. Very much fun. For me, not the car. I don't think it likes it very much when the rpm indicator is well into the red area ...
*grins*
But is it my car? nooooooo ... d;
Had a customer who wasn't too happy to find out that not all our cars are equipped with snow tires. The usual really. I persuaded him to accept a downgrade though, in order to get both snow tires and sat nav. He was happy with that ...
