Yesterday was fun!
May. 20th, 2007 04:27 pmI did stuff yesterday.
First off, I visited Christian's parents in Schwarzenbek and picked up some old computery stuff. (Christian, I don't know if most of the games we had for the A500 ever worked on the A1200. If they did, then they don't anymore. I guess the data on the floppies havent' survived. Lotus 2 and 3, Speedball 2, Bubble Bobble, Supercars 2, etc, all of those don't run).
Then I visited my mother and we discussed the tax return forms I'd brought along.
Then I drove to Chrischi's place to pick him up, afterwards we drove to my sister's.
Once there we chatted, played with the kids (apparently I'll forever be known as the person who pushed Lara off the swing (she didn't bear a grudge though, I was still allowed to push her afterwards)), and had pizza.
Stefan joined a little later, and we stayed there until around midnight.
Then I took Chrischi back home, where he introduced me to his new computer. I'm not exactly overwhelmed by Windows Vista. Lots of eye candy, and that's about it.
Tiberium Wars looks absolutely amazing though. All details set to high, and it still runs way better than on my computer with details set to very low. Of course, most of that is just eye candy too, but after all, this is a game we're talking about here, as opposed to an operating system ...
I've decided that once I'm supreme leader of the earth, I will outlaw computers that are more powerful than mine btw ...
I left Chrischi some time after 1am, and was back here around 2ish I think. Did some things here, then went to bed.
Was woken this morning by the telephone. Steffi thought I might be already up and capable of answering a question ...
Anyway, since I was awake anyway, I got up, showered, made food, cleaned the kitchen and ironed some clothes.
and now I'll waste some more time before leaving for Hamburg. Concert this evening ... Sucks that no one I know is coming along though ... I guess I'll just ask Steffi next time, or something. I think she likes Within Temptation ..
