Satch in Hamburg
Jun. 5th, 2008 03:29 amToday I saw Satriani live at Grosse Freiheit 36 in Hamburg.
Very, very awesome. Dunno if Satriani tours Europe all that often, but it's well worth seeing him again when he returns. He played a bit of everything, new stuff, old stuff. I don't really like the latest album all that much, but it works well live. And Crowd Chant ... I know the song's kinda stupid, but it's fun anyway d;
I was hoping for Crystal Planet, but he didn't play that ):
Oh, and Stu did a bass solo, parts of which were pretty similar to the second half of this one. First half reminded me of The Headless Horseman ...
Anyway, also very cool supporting act, Steve Fister (Band). I don't say this often of supports, but I'd pay money to see him play again.
