1. Copy and paste your friends list.
2. If you've friended multiple journals by the same person, delete all but the "main" one.
3. Bold the name of everyone you know or have met in "real life."
4. Italicize the name of everyone you've received snail mail from.
5. Underline the name of everyone you've chatted with online.
6. *Star* people you've known, online or off, for more than two years.
7. [Bracket] people you've known, online or off, for more than five years.
8. Turn family members red.
9. Pass it on.

(nb I'm not quite sure about the years ... and the snail mail thing ... and pretty much everything else ...)

The good thing about those 5 years thing is, since my LJ is almost 5 years old, the question for me basically is, "Have I known these people before LJ, or have I met them through LJ?"
