Why the hell are amazon selling Samurai Champloo DVDs for 13.97€ each?! (everyone else is selling them for around 25€. And by everyone I mean neotokyo.de ...)
I didn't even want to get that series until I saw an ad on TV just now. The animation looks cool, and according to some sources the dubbing is pretty good for a change.

And I can get the whole show for like 112€ now ...
hrmm ... Who knows how long amazon are going to keep those prices ...

"Samurai Champloo" isn't good anime. It has intresting action, but also there are asilly nachronisms. A girl wants to find a samurai (her father) and two young men help her. It likes "Cowboy Bebop" in the Edo age.

I'm well aware that it's a lot like Cowboy Bebop (it's pretty obvious anyway). But for that very reason I think I might like it.

Did you watch a first OVA "Samurai X"? This is a great historic samurai action. Also i recommending "Escaflown" movie if you like bloody fantasy.

I like to read a manga, it's really great. Manga Hellsing, Elfen Lied and etc are better than anime.
